Our vision is to work closely with GPs and local communities in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to help them strengthen general practice and community nursing for the future and manage the rapidly rising demand for health care by

 

• delivering community nursing services for adults in their own homes in a truly patient-centred and holistic way, promoting self-care and independence,
• providing a range of nurse led clinics that deliver good clinical outcomes for patients and value for money and
• delivering services to support the development, recruitment and retention of highly competent general practice and community nurses

 

We put patients at the centre of their own health care, empowering them to have the confidence, ability and the skills to achieve the best outcomes possible. We believe that supporting each individual to work towards self-management through education, encouragement, goal setting, sensitive challenge, when appropriate, and collaborative problem solving is the key to achieving successful outcomes.

Operations Director

KATHRYN CALEY

Since graduating from the NHS Management Training Scheme in 2001, Kathryn has worked in senior NHS operational management positions. She has a track record of effectively engaging clinicians at all levels in finding real solutions for front line problems and implementing service improvement that has a direct and positive impact on patient care. Qualified as a Registered General Nurse, Kathryn takes pride in maintaining a strong patient-centred focus. She understands what motivates health professionals and creates a working environment that inspires teams to deliver their best. She has a BSc (Hons) in Business Finance and Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Health Services Management.

SOPHIE HOWSON

Sophie trained as a Registered General Nurse at the Nightingale School at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, and she has worked in community settings for over 20 years. She is a highly regarded Queen’s Nurse with extensive experience in looking after patients who have complex long term conditions. She is driven to provide excellent, person-centred care for patients. With compassion and understanding, she works collaboratively with patients and their families to navigate a complex health system and to identify the best way to meet their health needs. Sophie’s post registration qualifications include a BA (Hons) in District Nursing, an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and Advanced Non-Medical Prescribing.

BETHAN BILLINGTON

A Fellow of the CIPD (FCIPD) with significant, senior level, HR experience in health care organisations. Bethan is driven by identifying modern and effective people management practices that will allow the delivery of genuinely strategic business support. She has a proven history of delivering dynamic HR services in changing organisations, advanced organisational development and leadership interventions and leading high profile organisational change activities. She has an extensive educational background holding an MBA, LLM in Employment Law and MA in Strategic Human Resource Management.
