Doppler Assessment Skills Training
Are you involved in Leg Ulcer Management? Would you benefit from practical training on how to carry out a doppler assessment and how to use your findings as part of an holistic assessment.
We deliver a rolling programme of Doppler Assessment Skills training across Cambridgeshire.
We can also arrange training (2.5 hours) in your local workplace for up to 10 participants.
We have no planned training dates currently. If you would like to arrange a training session or be informed about future training dates, register your interest here.
Training Requirements:
This training is open to Registered Nurses who have completed the Leg Ulcer Management Course (full course or 2 day short course)
The training includes:
– Selection and maintenance of equipment
– Theory of Doppler assessment
– Practicalities of carrying out the Doppler Assessment
– Variables that may affect result
– Calculation and interpretation of the ABPI score
– The significance of findings and treatment decisions

who would all benefit from Doppler training.
Please advise if this could be on offer,
and How much would it cost.
