Group Supervision for Non-Medical Prescribers
SK Nurses run group supervision session for non-medical prescribers (NMPs). The supervision sessions are intended to develop and maintain the NMPs confidence in prescribing and to create an effective environment to foster peer support and learning that will be helpful in their practice.
The group will be facilitated, but the emphasis will be on learning from the group experience and building a support network of fellow NMPs. Each group will consist of a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 8.
Each participant will maintain a reflective record for their revalidation portfolio and personal development.
To ensure the sessions are successful, participants are required to sign up to, and attend, a half hour introductory session and 4 x two-hour group supervision sessions over the period of 1 year. At the end, it is expected that the group will be self-sufficient and able to provide ongoing support to each other.
Free introductory session
£18 per group supervision session (£72 per year)
